New Features
1. Project Status Spectrum Chart
The Project Status Spectrum Chart displays the progress of multiple projects using sliding blocks and sliders, allowing you to quickly identify and compare each project's progress at a glance.

2. Project Status Bead Chart
The Project Status Bead Chart shows progress percentages or amounts for multiple projects using beads and sliders. Each slider with its corresponding bead represents the progress for one project, and all are displayed together for easy comparison.

3. Progress Pie Chart
Unlike a normal pie chart that shows only one series of values, the Progress Pie Chart can present multiple categories in a single chart. It supports creating charts based on given actual and target values or on specified completion percentages.

4. Radial Bar Chart
The Radial Bar Chart is a variation of the normal bar chart. Instead of horizontal bars, it bends them into segments of a doughnut, giving the chart a radar-like appearance.

5. Alternative Rose Chart
The Alternative Rose Chart uses a circular histogram to display a series of values, making the entire chart resemble a rose. This feature supports two styles of alternative rose charts.

6. Nightingale Chart
The Nightingale Chart displays a series of values on a polar coordinate grid. It supports three types of Nightingale charts: Single series, Inequality angle, and Multi-series.

7. Bidirectional Histogram Chart
The Bidirectional Histogram Chart uses columns to present two sets of values in opposite directions, allowing you to easily compare the two sets.

8. Multiple Series Line Chart
Unlike a general line chart that overlaps multiple sets of values, the Multiple Series Line Chart groups multiple lines side by side within the same chart.

9. Multi Layer Column Chart
The Multi Layer Column Chart combines multiple standard column charts into one chart using different layers, where each layer represents one set of values.

10. Forecast Chart
In a typical line chart, two lines are used to display actual and forecast values separately. The Forecast Chart combines and compares actual and forecast values using a single line, with a solid line representing actual values and a dotted line for forecast values.

11. Threshold Value Area Chart
The Threshold Value Area Chart generates an area graph bounded by a static threshold line. Areas above the threshold are filled with one color, while areas below are filled with another.

12. Rectangular Pie Chart
The Rectangular Pie Chart generates a multi-layer rectangular comparison chart. Rectangular pies are overlaid, each representing a set of data; a larger square size indicates a larger value.

13. Half Pie Chart
Unlike standard pie or doughnut charts, the Half Pie Chart quickly creates a half-circle pie chart or a semi-circle ring chart.

14. Add Poly Line
The Add Poly Line feature adds a smooth curve with an arrow to a single series of a clustered column chart.

15. Detach Chart
This feature breaks the links between a chart and its original source data. After detaching, the chart will not update when the source data is modified, helping you avoid errors when pasting the chart into other workbooks.
16. Date Picker
The Date Picker feature adds a calendar icon beside the currently selected date cell. Clicking the icon displays a calendar immediately, and selecting a date replaces the original date.
17. Mark Keyword
The Mark Keyword feature highlights multiple keywords simultaneously within a specified range in Excel. It supports:
(1) Searching for multiple keywords at once;
(2) Searching for multiple keywords with case sensitivity;
(3) Highlighting only the specified keywords within cells;
(4) Highlighting entire cells that contain the specified keywords.

18. Show Classic Menu on Quick Access Toolbar
When enabled, this feature adds an icon at the far left of the Quick Access Toolbar that lets you access the classic menus from Excel 2003 and earlier.

19. Convert Date to Serial Date
This formula converts a normal date (e.g., 1/2/2021) to an ordinal date (e.g., 2nd January, 2021).

20. Convert Date to Quarter
This formula converts a normal date (e.g., 5/11/2016) to its corresponding quarter (e.g., Q2-2016).

21. Sum Based on the Same Text
For example, if you have recorded weight data in the same cells with both numbers and units, this formula quickly sums the weights for cells with the same unit.

22. Cell Contains Specific Text Then Return Value
This formula searches for specific text in a given cell and returns a set value if the cell contains that text; otherwise, it returns blank.

23. Abbreviated Name
This formula shortens normal names or words to abbreviations (e.g., abbreviating “New York” to “NY”).

24. Connected Value by Specific Character (String)
This formula connects all cell values in a specified range using a specific character.

25. Calculate Days in Year
This formula determines the total number of days in the year that contains the given date.

26. Calculate Days in Month
This formula returns the total number of days in the specified month that contains the given date.

Improvements
1. Extract Text
In the latest version, the Extract Text feature has been greatly improved to handle most extraction needs:
1) Extract the first N characters (e.g., the first 10 characters from the left of each cell);
2) Extract the last N characters (e.g., the last 6 characters from each cell);
3) Extract characters within a specified range (e.g., from the 5th to the 12th character in each cell);
4) Extract characters before a given text (e.g., all characters before the first blank);
5) Extract characters after a given text (e.g., all characters after the first blank);
6) Extract all numbers from each cell; and
7) Support using formulas to extract characters dynamically, so that results update automatically based on the original cell values.

2. (Kutools) Search
Supports disabling the “ALT + S” shortcut to activate the (Kutools) Search feature.

3. Multi-select Drop-down List
Supports retaining the activated status from the last closed workbook.
4. Drop-down List with Check Boxes
Supports recording the activated status from the previous configuration.
5. Dumbbell Plot Chart
Now supports filling the bars between dots with two colors, making it easy to identify whether the difference between the two sets of values is positive or negative.

6. Multi Series Histogram Chart
In the latest version, the Multi Series Histogram Chart now also supports creating a multi-series bar chart.

7. Progress Ring Chart
The Progress Ring Chart has been optimized and now offers 3 chart styles.

8. Reading Layout
The Reading Layout feature has been improved to support highlighting the area of the active cell. (Note: The active cell highlight option is disabled by default.)

9. Copy Ranges
The Copy Ranges feature has been enhanced to copy multiple ranges while ignoring hidden rows and columns.

10. Find and Break Broken Links
This feature has been greatly improved. It now supports finding and breaking links not only to cells in other workbooks but also to PivotTables, shapes, and named ranges.

11. Setting Center
The repair functionality has been enhanced to resolve loading failures.
